What do Muslims celebrate? What Muslim celebrations or special days can you think of?

Muslims celebrate 2 Eids (Eid Ul Fitr and Eid Ul Adha), Ramadan – 30 days of fasting and Al Hijra – the Islamic New Year.

TASK

Ramadan lasts for 30 days:

Can you create a Ramadan timetable for a child: colouring each day as it passes and drawing or adding pictures related to this time.

For example, a moon, sun, empty table and so on.

Islamic religious art does not include images of people or animals. To many Muslims it is not acceptable to reproduce life-like images of people or animals. Try using other images of flowers, the sun, etc to create your calendar.
